alright! so here you go, at long last, all the while i have been lazily avoiding and dreading this post, but here it is! in case any of you out there want to complain about. lmao!
the long awaited 45-shots-post regarding the SAFARI ZOO RUN 2009!
the long stretch of people, cramping up the place and making the weather hotter than it should be. i guess this proves that over-population can really cause global warming to become worst than it should be.
yiwen and i taking pictures whilst being put on a longgggg hot wait.
still in the meltdown, waiting for the release of the people so that the race can start and we can eventually get some fresh air.
then i got really really bored and started taking nonsensical pictures.
and this lady seems to have a phobia for my camera.
this would be the first animal we saw in the zoo area, after being stink-infused in the safari area without anything to look at.
thanks to miss yiwen, who smartly wore slippers, we didnt get to run, hence i told her she better pose for some running shots.
look at her go! wooo!
the animal that yiwen was so interested in.
the statue that i was so interested in. i kind of regret this shot.
the white tiger! roarrrr!
i suspect this dude over here was the one that attacked the mad indian man, apparently he kept "patrolling" the premises and eyeing all of us. lmao, nevertheless, they still had alot of spectators despite being famed for attacking a mad dude. but yeah, they aren't in the wrong anyway, so yeahh.
this really cute little girl who was very cooperative with me. hahaha!
tiny elephant statues we found on our way towards the elephunk zone.
larger statues we found on our way throughout the elephunk zone..
and another one.
and yet another one.
and then there was a herd of them.
we said hello to the tuxedo dudes stoning by their air-conditioned room, which i would die to just get in. the weather was seriously, causing me to fulminate on the spot.
"what'd ya lookin' at? never seen a Ralph Lauren Suit?!"
oh and here's another elephant, though we were already miles from the elephunk zone.
and you are not seeing double, yiwen jsut didn't like the previous shot.
and the tallllllllllllllllllllll giraffe bush sculpture. kind of cool though.
got into the rain forest area and saw this fat crabby patty.
oh and some archer fishes too.
no, she's not inviting you to sit with her, she merely dropped her bottle.
wormy!
and i thought they were fakes at first.
i think this is much more appetizing for the eyes.
and butterflies here aren't scared of humans either, or maybe they were just busy with the nectar frenzy.
i feel madagascarish all of a sudden.
but this dude here apparently doesn't dance not sing.
quack quack and away~
mouse deers, these things are really a handful, the babies are so small, you might mistake them for guinea pigs running loose.
oh and i found this bird thats been high on pills.
lol no, i think its just another freaking huge pigeon that bobs its head even harder.
and finally! it got tired. LMAO!
some more mousedeers!
and more camouflaged animals.
another plate overflowing plate of butterflies having a feeding frenzy.
and then we found yet another plate, this time i think the flowers aren't very appetizing so there weren't so many.
and then before we left the place, we saw the mother and kids group that was so desperate in getting away from us.
then after the whole thing, we managed to have some more fun at the gift shops.
peeeek-a-boooo!
no that's a fake snake. and needless to say, we didn't purchase anything since everything's freaking expensive and ridiculously priced.
after the whole thing, we headed off to nicole's house for a potluck CNY partttttyyyyy. but before we had fun, the taxi company had to irritate us.
uber dumb cab-calling system, after making us wait for way longer than the waiting time we were told, the cab that was to come fetch us fetched someone else instead. don't you think its dumb? seriously, i have yet wrote in to complain about them, but arghs, forget it. too busy working every day to bother about dumb cabbies like this.
so this marks the end of my longest picture post, and hope you survived reading it!
